Optimal nonlinear damping control of second-order systems

چکیده
Novel nonlinear damping control is proposed for the second-order systems. The proportional output feedback combined with term which quadratic to derivative and inverse set-point distance. global asymptotic stability, passivity property, convergence time accuracy are demonstrated. Also saturation case explicitly analyzed. suggested denoted as optimal since requiring no additional design parameters ensuring a fast convergence, without transient overshoots non-saturated one overshoot saturated configuration.
